About the Role

Deft Services is an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund and SIF Distributor focused on helping clients select and invest in suitable financial products. This role offers exposure to core financial distribution operations and client-facing activities in a professional, growth-oriented environment.

This is a full-time/part-time, on-site/remote Intern role based in Bhilwara.

Key Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day operations by assisting with client onboarding, documentation, and basic data entry related to mutual fund and SIF investments.
• Help prepare and maintain client records.
• Learn to interpret basic financial information.
• Support the team in scheduling client meetings and follow-ups.
• Assist in collecting and organizing market and product information.
• Prepare simple reports under supervision.
• Coordinate with senior team members on routine administrative tasks.
• Develop practical knowledge of mutual fund distribution and professional work habits.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Comfort with using computers, spreadsheets, and standard office software.
• Willingness to learn new tools.
• If working Remotely: Mobile/Laptop required.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn basic concepts in mutual funds, financial products, and regulatory guidelines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, data entry, and record-keeping.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with clients and team members (in person, over phone, or email).
• Good organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Professional, ethical mindset with a focus on client service and confidentiality.
• Enrollment in or completion of studies in commerce, finance, business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to work on-site/remote in Bhilwara and collaborate closely with the team.
