About the Role
Join Unicontrol's R&D team as a Full-Stack Cloud Developer Intern. This internship offers real experience building a cloud/SaaS product used by customers worldwide. You will ship features from the database to the UI.
Key Responsibilities
- Build features across the whole stack: React UI, Python API, and the database
- Work on a pluggable Flask backend, built around a small core
- Write tests and help check that features work both in isolation and as complete solutions
- Talk with customers to ensure built features are easy to use and solve their problems
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Frontend: React, TypeScript, MUI, TanStack Query, Vite, Vitest, ESLint, Prettier
- Backend: Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy
- Data: MariaDB, PostgreSQL, Redis, IoT telemetry via ThingsBoard
- Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes (AWS EKS), Bitbucket Pipelines, Grafana
Qualifications
- Currently studying for a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Software Engineering or Computer Science
- Ability to start in February 2027
- Experience with React, Python, and/or REST APIs
- Knowledge of the basics of database design
- A strong desire for building very easy-to-use interfaces
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or AWS is a plus but not required
