About the Role

The Sales Development Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Charlottesville, VA. This role is responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and online research, focusing on organizations that can benefit from managed IT and local computer support services.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and online research.
• Engage prospective clients, understanding their technology needs and challenges.
• Schedule meetings or demos for the account management and technical teams.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system.
• Follow up on inbound inquiries.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to refine messaging and outreach campaigns.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads and a positive experience for potential customers.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Inside Sales and Lead Generation skills.
• Experience with outbound prospecting and handling inbound inquiries.
• Effective Communication skills and Sales abilities to build rapport, ask discovery questions, and clearly present solutions.
• Business Development skills to identify target markets, nurture relationships, and support long-term growth opportunities.
• Relevant experience with CRM tools.
• Basic IT or technology familiarity.
• Comfort discussing managed services or technical support solutions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in an on-site team environment.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is a plus.
