Pcb Design Intern

About the Role

The PCB Design Intern will support the hardware engineering team in designing and refining printed circuit boards for drone systems. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in India, with some work-from-home flexibility and in-office presence expected.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with schematic capture using CAD tools.
• Assist with layout design using CAD tools.
• Assist with component selection using CAD tools.
• Update design files and documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers to review designs.
• Perform basic research on components and standards.
• Help prepare boards for prototyping and testing.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools relevant to PCB layout and electronic design.
• Ability to conduct technical research.
• Basic understanding of architecture and structure of electronic systems, including PCB stack-ups and signal flow.
• Familiarity with Graphic Design or Graphics concepts.
• Knowledge of fundamental electronics concepts, such as circuits, components, and PCB manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or having recently completed a degree/diploma in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to follow engineering guidelines.
• Willingness to learn industry best practices.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
