Python Django Developer

About the Role

Datapoint IT & Hardware Tech Pvt Ltd is seeking a full-time, on-site Python Django Developer at their Ameerpet location. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementing new features in Django-based projects.
• Writing clean and efficient Python code.
• Integrating RESTful APIs.
• Managing databases for performance and reliability.
• Participating in code reviews.
• Troubleshooting and resolving bugs.
• Optimizing application performance.
• Ensuring adherence to security and best coding practices.
• Working with version control systems.
• Documenting technical solutions.
• Coordinating with other developers, testers, and project managers to deliver high-quality software on schedule.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Practical experience developing web applications using Django or similar frameworks.
• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Familiarity with ORM concepts and SQL queries.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript to support integration with Django templates.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON.
• Proficiency with version control tools (such as Git).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC), unit testing, and deployment processes on Linux or cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site with team members and stakeholders.
• Exposure to academic or industry projects in Python/Django.
• Willingness to learn new tools and frameworks as required.
