About the Role
This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Ahmedabad. Saara Spaces specializes in design-and-build turnkey interior projects, offering end-to-end solutions from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop design concepts.
- Prepare layouts.
- Collaborate on space planning for residential and commercial projects.
- Create detailed drawings.
- Select materials and finishes.
- Coordinate FF&E specifications.
- Work closely with project managers, architects, and vendors.
- Conduct site visits.
- Review construction progress.
- Ensure design intent is maintained.
- Address on-site design queries.
- Participate in client meetings.
- Present design proposals.
- Support cost-effective design decisions aligned with project budgets.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Interior Design and Space Planning skills.
- Architecture and Construction Drawings skills.
- FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment) expertise.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar tools).
- Strong visual communication skills (mood boards, presentations, material boards).
- Effective collaboration and communication skills.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Prior experience in turnkey or design-and-build projects is an advantage.
