About the Role
Associated Wholesale Grocers (AWG) is seeking a Supply Chain Management student for a 2027 Summer Internship on the Nebraska Division Support Center operations team. This role offers direct experience in all aspects of supply chain management, ensuring seamless product movement from suppliers to member retailers and maintaining stocked shelves. The team is critical in delivering products on time and at the best possible cost by managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and optimizing logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain direct experience with all aspects of supply chain management.
- Ensure products move seamlessly from suppliers to member retailers.
- Maintain the flow of goods to keep retailer shelves stocked.
- Play a critical role in delivering products on time and at the best possible cost.
- Manage inventory.
- Coordinate shipments.
- Optimize logistics.
- Travel to AWG Support Center in Kansas City, MO for an end-of-year presentation to the executive leadership team.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Supply Chain Management major.
- Junior or senior level students preferred; recent graduates are acceptable.
- Solid communication skills.
- Strong organization skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Willingness to ask questions.
- Ability to follow up.
- Initiative.
- Enthusiasm to learn.
- Ability to follow direction.
- Ability to commit to a full-time, 40 hours per week, 10-week internship.
- Possibility to work overtime as needed.

- Dates: May 25th, 2027 – July 30th, 2027
- Pay: $21/hour
