Junior Interior Designer

About the Role

Jade InEx is a luxury interior design studio seeking a full-time, on-site Junior Interior Designer based in Delhi, India.

Key Responsibilities

• Support senior designers in developing concept presentations, mood boards, and design narratives for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
• Assist with space planning and prepare interior layouts.
• Produce construction drawings, including layouts, detailed sections, and joinery details.
• Coordinate FF&E selections (finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories).
• Collaborate with consultants and vendors.
• Prepare detailed documentation for execution.
• Participate in site visits to track progress and ensure design intent is maintained.
• Assist with material research and sample organization.
• Maintain project files and design standards.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in design and drafting software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar.
• Proficiency in basic presentation tools like PowerPoint, InDesign, or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Strong Interior Design and Space Planning skills for residential, commercial, and hospitality projects.
• Foundational Architecture knowledge and ability to understand design intent and project constraints.
• Skills related to FF&E, including material selection, furniture specification, and vendor coordination.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Strong visual sense and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret and develop design concepts within a luxury design context.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a studio environment.
• Willingness to learn and take initiative.
