Applied AI Researcher & Development Intern

About the Role

The Applied AI Researcher & Development Intern is a full-time remote role focused on exploring, prototyping, and validating AI-driven features for Digitalyoushop AI’s business platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct applied research in machine learning and pattern recognition.
• Analyze data to identify actionable insights.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate research concepts into experiments or proof-of-concept implementations.
• Design and evaluate models for recommendation systems, customer behavior analysis, and operational optimization, using appropriate statistical and data science methods.
• Document findings, prepare clear reports and presentations.
• Contribute to iterative model improvements based on performance metrics and user feedback.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Experience with Python or similar languages.
• Experience with common ML/data libraries (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy).

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including algorithms, data structures, and software development principles.
• Applied skills in Data Science and Statistics for experimental design, data analysis, and model evaluation.
• Knowledge of Pattern Recognition and machine learning techniques relevant to recommendation, classification, and forecasting tasks.
• Research skills for literature review, hypothesis formulation, experimental setup, and results interpretation.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Statistics, or a related field.
• Interest in digital commerce, entrepreneurship, and AI-native product development.
• Prior experience with cloud platforms or MLOps is a plus.
