About the Role

Northrop Grumman is seeking Software Engineers for an internship opportunity in Roy, UT. This position will be within the Defense Systems Sector, Strategic Deterrent Systems Division (SDSD).

Key Responsibilities

• Development and execution of automated testing.
• Development and execution of metrics reporting.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Software coding and scripting (Python, C++, Java)
• Code analysis tool(s) (GitLab)
• Data analysis tool(s) (Tableau)
• Software test automation tools/frameworks

Qualifications

• Student enrolled full-time pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university.
• Must be enrolled full-time in Fall 2027.
• Majoring in or having majored in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
• Able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite for obtaining a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher.
• Current active Secret Security Clearance or higher.
