About the Role

The Account Manager will be a customer-facing role responsible for winning business within the end-user and projects space in India. This role will develop a customer interface roadmap with short, medium, and long-term perspectives, with an emphasis on turning leads into orders.

Key Responsibilities

• Growing Wireline Business in the Northeastern part of India.
• Positioning the Baker Hughes Wireline business as a critical Wireline partner for all customers in the region.
• Leading account engagement and strategy with End Users, EPCs, OEMs, Licensors.
• Leading billing and collection to ensure cash flow.
• Managing and developing a solid pipeline of end-user and project opportunities.
• Executing assigned account targets and driving account growth.
• Providing regional market intelligence, competitive intelligence, and customer intelligence.
• Reporting on all regional activities related to market awareness and new project updates.
• Negotiating contracts in collaboration with commercial operations and risk management teams, and proactively leading negotiations on significant aspects of assigned opportunities.
• Demonstrating commercial and technical expertise in the Wireline market.
• Maintaining knowledge of market trends and product needs.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Degree in an engineering discipline or similar.
• Work experience in the wireline business.
• Excellent technical knowledge of Wireline Services across all industry sectors.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate at all levels within the organization and effectively influence others without authority.
• Ability to coordinate and negotiate across several projects simultaneously with varying complexity.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluent in English.
• This role requires on-site presence.
