Junior Accountant

About the Role

Aayu is a fashion brand seeking a Junior Accountant for a full-time, on-site position in Faridabad.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks.
• Record financial transactions.
• Maintain ledgers.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable.
• Support invoice processing.
• Perform expense tracking.
• Conduct bank reconciliations.
• Assist with basic financial reporting in coordination with the senior finance team.
• Help prepare documentation for audits and compliance.
• Organize financial records.
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry in accounting systems.
• Collaborate with operations and management teams to support budgeting, cost control, and financial workflows.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in accounting software.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (including data entry, spreadsheet formulas, and financial record management).

Qualifications

• Strong foundational accounting skills, including knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and basic financial statements.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in numerical work.
• Ability to reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• A relevant educational background such as a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field is beneficial.
• Prior internship or entry-level experience in accounting, retail, or fashion industry finance is an advantage.
• Ethical conduct, reliability, and willingness to learn and adapt are essential.
