Key Responsibilities
- Deliver QC activities related to procurement, vendor inspection, yard coordination, and coordination with Third Party Inspection agencies and the client.
- Manage Inward Material Inspection Reports and Goods Receipt Note (GRN) clearance.
- Review Vendor Quality Documents, including Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Welding Procedure Specifications, Procedure Qualification Records, Non-destructive testing procedures and reports (UT, MT, PT, RT, PMI etc.), Surface Preparation and Coating procedures, Factory Acceptance Test procedures, and Pneumatic testing procedures.
- Attend pre-inspection meetings and weekly quality review meetings with the client and yard.
- Coordinate and attend internal and external audits and ensure closure of Non-conformances (NCRs).
- Review Inspection reports and Release notes.
- Coordinate with SCM and PMT.
- Carry out complete QA/QC activities to comply with client requirements and L&T's Quality Management System.
- Implement and monitor Quality Assurance and Quality Control requirements throughout project execution.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, client requirements, company standards, and applicable international codes.

- Conduct inspection and surveillance activities during:

- Testing Activities
- Monitor implementation of approved quality procedures and inspection requirements.
- Verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in material inspections, dimensional checks, welding inspections, and visual inspections.
- Coordinate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and monitor timely closure.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and effectiveness reviews for corrective actions.
- Monitor project quality KPIs and prepare quality reports.
- Support internal, client, and third-party audits.
- Participate in punch point management and project handover activities.
- Ensure traceability of materials, inspections, and quality documentation.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and lessons learned programs.
- Assist in vendor and subcontractor quality evaluations.
