Cage/Club Representative

About the Role

The Cage/Club Representative at Spokane Tribe Resort & Casino is responsible for assisting customers with transactions, balancing bank drawers, and promoting the Players Club (Sun Club). This role also involves collaborating with the Marketing Department to meet casino promotion event goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with transactions and balance bank drawers.
• Maintain accuracy throughout all phases of the balancing process.
• Promote the day-to-day membership of the Players Club (Sun Club).
• Work with the Marketing Department to meet casino promotion event goals.
• Print Sun Club Cards.
• Answer customer questions and direct guests to the Marketing area.
• Accurately count and balance cashier banks.
• Maintain cashier drawer transaction records and prepare daily cash inventory forms.
• Redeem video gaming tickets, gaming chips, and coupons.
• Maintain imprest bank balance through buy/sell from the vault.
• Cash personal checks for currency.
• Redeem foreign currency, computing accurate exchange rates.
• Maintain a working knowledge of casino facilities and special events.
• Assist in maintaining cage floor security by reporting suspicious activity.
• Assist other Cashiers within the Cage as needed.
• Facilitate the flow of information by working with the Marketing Department and attending required meetings.
• Maintain departmental records and reports with a high degree of accuracy and thoroughness.
• Identify problems and solutions proactively, following up with Marketing or Cage Supervisor.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the database system for the promotional tracking system.
• Promote casino promotions and encourage new customers to sign up for the players club.
• Assist customers through the membership process by inputting data into the promotional tracking system.
• Maintain knowledge of all casino programs, promotions, and casino games.
• Maintain a positive and productive attitude with customers and team members.
• Promote marketing events, in-house promotions, and other announcements over the microphone system as needed.
• Assist Cage Supervisor and Marketing Manager with special projects.
• Maintain a clean and clear workstation.
• Stock promotional items (bungee cords, club cards, etc.) and inform management when items are low.
• Perform other assigned tasks.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Computer literate.
• Experience with a promotional tracking system.
• Experience with a database system.
• Ability to secure and maintain STATE OR TRIBAL Gaming License.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• Cash handling experience required.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and use good judgment.
• Excellent mathematical aptitude.
• Ability to handle heavy business volume and sensitive situations promptly.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to tolerate areas containing varying noise, smoke, and temperature levels.
• Must be able to work shift work, holidays, weekends, and special events.
