Key Responsibilities
- Assists medical professional staff members by performing routine patient care, laboratory procedures, and clerical procedures to support patient care.
- Monitors patient flow to ensure clients are serviced promptly and effectively.
- Prepares examination rooms, ensuring they are clean, orderly, and properly stocked with supplies.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a Clinical Medical Assistant program.
- Successful completion of a 160-hour MA Externship.
- Alternatively, completion of BSN (Bachelors of Science in Nursing).
- Current and active CPR Card.
- Experienced in utilizing a computer, Microsoft Products, and EMR (preferred).
- Phlebotomy skills, or desire to learn (strongly preferred).
- Bilingual language is a plus.
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
