Job Title: Pharmacist Intern PRN
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical pharmacy services for all patients.
- Ensure the safe procurement, preparation, labeling, distribution, and control of all medications under the supervision of a Licensed Pharmacist.
- Work under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist in the assessment of medication orders.
- Review the appropriateness of drugs ordered, dosage, route, and interactions under supervision.
- Review, oversee, and ensure the quality of technician's work under supervision.
- Ensure medications are safely dispensed to inpatients and outpatients of neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric ages under supervision.
Qualifications
- AACP
- In the process of completing practicum to obtain hours to be eligible to take Board Examination for a licensed Pharmacist.
- Current FL Internship Licensure.
- Skills: Organizational, computer, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar, spelling.
- Ability to read/comprehend/follow written instructions.
- Ability to verbal/follow instructions.
