AES Guidewire BillingCenter Developer Associate

As an AES Guidewire BillingCenter Developer Associate, you will support the design, enhancement, and maintenance of Guidewire BillingCenter solutions for insurance clients, helping improve billing operations and customer experiences. You will build curiosity, adaptability, and reliability while contributing to project tasks, supporting senior team members, asking questions, and developing your technical skills in a fast-paced environment. You will participate in development work, problem-solving, testing, and production support activities for deployed Guidewire solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting Guidewire BillingCenter configuration, enhancement, and maintenance activities for insurance platform solutions
• Contributing to software development tasks across billing workflows, integrations, and system updates
• Debugging application issues and participating in problem resolution for deployed Guidewire solutions
• Assisting with production support activities, including ticket triage, issue research, and defect remediation
• Collaborating on the implementation of automation and digital tooling to improve application performance and delivery speed
• Interpreting functional requirements and translating them into technical updates within Guidewire environments
• Executing code changes, unit testing, and deployment support using software development methods and system development practices
• Applying knowledge of Guidewire BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and PolicyCenter to support connected application processes

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Deep experience in BillingCenter and working knowledge on Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and ContactManager
• GOSU, Guidewire Event and Rules Framework, and Guidewire Web Services
• Good knowledge on XML & JSON formats and ANT, MAVEN, Gradle scripts
• Experience using tools such as SOAP UI, Postman
• Working with code repositories such as SVN & GIT
• Oral and written proficiency in English

Qualifications

• At least a Bachelor's degree
• At least one of the following: Guidewire and Scrum Master Certification
• Demonstrating Guidewire BillingCenter configuration skills in support work
• Applying BillingCenter knowledge within insurance technology projects
• Learning software development methods and digital tooling quickly
• Adapting to client support tasks across evolving priorities
• Communicating clearly while accepting feedback and practicing teamwork
