2027 Entry Level IT Analyst

About the Role

This position is part of the Information Technology Solutions (ITS) Entry Level Rotation Program at Solar Turbines. The program is designed to develop and train the next generation of well-rounded and highly competent technology professionals through an analyst rotation program, providing a foundation for future success.

Program Goals:

Rotations include assignments in departments such as:

• Market Facing Organization Information Technology
• Enterprise Applications
• Engineering Information Technology
• Client Support Services
• Cybersecurity
• Solar Analytics
• Infrastructure Services
• Manufacturing Information Technology

Work assignments can range from assisting in quality assurance, software development, customer support, project management, and system administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Interfacing with critical support and business roles to develop an understanding of our technology life cycle and how information technology supports the business.
• Management works with the analyst to align information technology solutions organizational needs with which department they want to join for their long-term assignment as the rotation program nears its end.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in STEM or Computer Science.
• Minimum overall GPA of at least 2.8 on a 4.0 scale.
• Previous internship and/or relevant work experience in a technology-related field.
• Must be able and willing to relocate to San Diego, CA.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced cross-functional team environment.
• High energy level and sense of urgency.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Good business / technical judgment.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities for a variety of tasks.

This position requires working onsite five days a week.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary for this role ranges from $82,625 - $103,653.
