About the Role
FirstCash is seeking a customer-focused Retail Sales Associate. This role involves assisting customers, working with various merchandise, and earning commission.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with sales, loans, and product inquiries.
- Support customers with pawn and short-term loan services by explaining terms, completing paperwork, and ensuring a smooth, customer-focused experience.
- Process sales and loan activity accurately while following company and regulatory guidelines.
- Evaluate merchandise for condition and value to support buying, selling, and loan decisions.
- Maintain a clean, organized sales floor and merchandise displays.
- Handle cash and negotiable items responsibly.
- Support store operations, including basic opening/closing tasks.
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members.
- Complete required training and follow company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Must be 18+ years old.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks.
- Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided).
- Strong customer service skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Experience using retail checkout systems is a plus.
- Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas.

Compensation
- $14.50 – $17.50 per hour + Unlimited Commission
- Commission rate: 2–8% based on individual performance.
