2027 Product Designer Intern

About the Role

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company focused on transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of how Software Product Design shapes experiences in the autonomous and command & control domains.
• Define experiences based on product goals, business, customer, and user needs.
• Hone visual and interaction design skills, leveraging typography, color, iconography, and layout.
• Work closely with manager or lead to develop design communication and presentation skills.
• Present designs and concepts to cross-functional partners and stakeholders.
• Own a feature or workflow end-to-end: discovery, design, prototyping, and implementation with engineers.
• Collaborate with product designers, research, product management, and engineers to understand the problem space and define solutions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Design (HCD, interaction, visual), or a design-related field.
• Must be returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic studies for at least one quarter or semester.
• Must be a U.S. Person.
• Ability to complete a 12-week in-person internship in summer 2027.
• Familiarity with Figma design and prototyping tools.
• Experience with 3D visualization.
