About the Role
CareBuilders at Home is seeking empathetic and reliable Caregivers passionate about making a difference. As a Caregiver, you will provide assistance and companionship to individuals needing help with daily activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and social outings.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health or behavior.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for clients.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of orientation in companion/sitter services/respite services.
- Six months of experience as a sitter, companion, or respite worker.
- TB test within the last 6 months
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Physical ability to assist with mobility and perform light household tasks.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required)
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
- Must maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and company privacy policies.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a caregiver preferred but not required.
