About the Role
Hourly Rate $18
The Processing Worker I sorts, cleans, prices, and stocks donated goods in a Goodwill store. This role accepts donations, provides assistance on the sales floor as needed, and delivers excellent customer service to donors and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, inspect, clean, price, and tally donations for the sales floor.
- Push racks and carts to the retail floor and assist in stocking and pulling merchandise.
- Open and close the donations area.
- Accept and safeguard donations, maintaining a clean, safe, and organized processing and donation area.
- Provide excellent customer service to donors and customers.
- Assist truck helpers and drivers to load/unload trucks.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
- Minimum of 6 months of recent experience or successful graduation from a GISD employment program.
- Knowledge of quality clothing and famous brand names is preferred.
- No specific computer skills are listed.
- No certificates or licenses are required.
