About the Role
The Chefs' Warehouse, Inc. is seeking a Sanitation Worker.
Position Summary
Responsible for the cleaning of general warehouse areas, stocking of supplies, changing garbage bags, cleaning of the breakroom, bathrooms, and test kitchen, sweeping, vacuuming, and operating a floor scrubber.
Key Responsibilities
- Use proper detergent and sanitizing chemicals following MSDS procedures.
- Ability to read labels for chemical identification.
- Maintenance duties include painting, pressure washing, changing batteries, and use of ladders.
- Occasional cleaning of oil spills.
- Working in a cold environment regularly (30-40 degrees) and occasionally in the freezer.
- Operating a pallet jack and forklift.
- Light Maintenance duties.
- Additional duties may be assigned by supervisor.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-6 months of experience.
- Physically fit and strong, able to lift 50 – 90 pounds comfortably.
- Electric pallet jack and forklift experience (not required).
