About the Role
The Capex Controller – Project Finance (Client Site), Ahmedabad is a full-time, on-site role based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. The role is responsible for monitoring and controlling capital expenditure for client projects, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and financial plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Reviewing project financial statements.
- Tracking capex utilization.
- Validating invoices and purchase orders.
- Preparing periodic financial reports for stakeholders.
- Coordinating with project, procurement, and finance teams to analyze variances.
- Supporting decision-making.
- Maintaining accurate accounting records.
- Supporting audit requirements.
- Improving financial controls.
- Contributing to the overall efficiency of project finance processes.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other financial tools.
- Familiarity with ERP or accounting software is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Accounting and Finance, with the ability to manage capex and project finance activities effectively.
- Hands-on experience with Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, including preparation, review, and reconciliation.
- Excellent Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify variances, and provide actionable insights.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work accurately under time constraints.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional project teams at client sites.
- Professional qualification such as Chartered Accountant, Cost Accountant, or a relevant finance degree preferred.
- Experience in project finance, infrastructure, manufacturing, or related industries is beneficial.
