About the Role
The SEO Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Puducherry, India.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day search engine optimization activities.
- Conduct keyword research.
- Perform on-page optimization.
- Execute link-building initiatives to improve organic visibility.
- Conduct regular SEO audits.
- Monitor website performance.
- Implement recommendations aligned with current search engine best practices.
- Collaborate with content, design, and social media teams to ensure consistent messaging.
- Optimize digital campaigns.
- Track key metrics such as rankings, traffic, and conversions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, algorithm changes, and tools.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Strong skills in Keyword Research and SEO Audits.
- Practical expertise in On-Page SEO, including meta tags, structured data, site architecture, and content optimization.
- Skills in Link Building and off-page optimization.
- Familiarity with Social Media Marketing.
- Experience with SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Google Analytics, keyword research tools).
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills.
- Ability to interpret data and present insights clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Relevant education in marketing, communications, IT, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
- Prior experience in an SEO or digital marketing role is an advantage.
