Material Planner/Controller Stf

About the Role

• Plans, schedules, and manages the efficient movement of material from receiving or the warehouse to production.
• Develops raw material requirements and scheduling requirements from engineering specifications and production schedules.
• Plans and manages material movement with purchasing, warehouse, and production.
• May use Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
• May negotiate lead times with suppliers and manage schedules for timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute Inventory.
• Manage and execute Warehousing.
• Manage and execute Shipping.
• Manage and execute Receiving.
• Manage and execute Work order control (for specific items).
• Manage and execute the Offload process.
• Manage and execute Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Manage and execute Creating purchase requisitions.
• Manage and execute Ensuring the timely conversions from purchase requisition to purchase order.
• Monitor unrestricted hardware and/or frozen raw material to ensure forecasts are loaded accordingly and that shortages are proactively identified and worked (prior to any work stop situations).
• Load make commits into the SMCC database on a weekly basis.
• Lead all continuous improvement activities within the product center (tied specifically to Material Logistics).
• Participate in 1LMX activities.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Extensive knowledge and experience in SAP.
• Familiarity with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
• Experience with SMCC database.
