Jr. Devops Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for a professional with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, automation, and deployment workflows to support and optimize real-world engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to manage tasks, track progress, and coordinate deliverables using Jira.
• Document infrastructure processes, technical configurations, and operational procedures.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and ensure reliability and availability.
• Implement DevOps best practices for automation, security, scalability, and infrastructure optimization.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, IAM, and VPC.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and automation.
• Experience with Jira or similar project management tools.
• Proficiency in Git and version control workflows.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Linux administration, command-line tools, and shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
• Knowledge of cloud security, access management, and infrastructure cost optimization.
• Experience automating infrastructure operations and improving deployment efficiency.
