Overview
Sentara Vascular and Vein Center is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant in Charlottesville, VA.
Full-time / 40 hours a week
Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
Occasional float when needed
Job Summary
The Certified Medical Assistant performs patient care and administrative/clerical tasks and procedures based on training, education, and competency evaluations, as delegated by and under the direction/supervision of a Physician, Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant (NP/PA), Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).

Requirements & Tech Stack
- Phlebotomy experience highly preferred
- High School Diploma OR equivalency required
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant OR
- Registered Medical Assistant OR
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant OR
- Certified EMT (EMT-B)
BLS within 90 days of hire date
Compensation
- Base pay range: $21.69 - $32.14 hourly
- Potential for additional compensation: shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
