About the Role
The Chefs' Warehouse is seeking a Sanitation Worker to maintain the cleanliness of general warehouse areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean general warehouse area.
- Stock supplies.
- Change garbage bags.
- Clean breakroom, bathrooms, and test kitchen.
- Sweep, vacuum, and operate a floor scrubber.
- Use proper detergent and sanitizing chemicals following MSDS procedures.
- Read labels for chemical identification.
- Perform maintenance duties including painting, pressure washing, changing batteries, and using ladders.
- Occasionally clean oil spills.
- Operate a pallet jack and forklift.
- Perform light maintenance duties.
- Additional duties may be assigned.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Ability to work in a cold environment regularly (30-40 degrees) and occasionally in the freezer.
- Physically fit and strong, able to lift 50 – 90 pounds comfortably.
- Electric pallet jack and forklift experience (not required).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-6 months of experience.
