About the Role

Capgemini Engineering seeks a developer to contribute to engineering practice and knowledge in various technologies. This role is for someone fully competent in their area, acting as a key contributor in complex or critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Development and application of engineering practice and knowledge in:
• Standards and protocols
• Application software
• Embedded software for wireless and satellite networks, fixed networks, and enterprise networks
• Connected devices (IoT and device engineering)
• Connected applications (5G/edge, B2X apps)
• Telco Cloud, Automation, and Edge Compute platforms
• Integration of network systems and their operations related to the above technologies.
• Proactively understand and anticipate client needs.
• Manage costs and profitability for a work area.
• Manage own agenda to meet agreed targets.
• Develop plans for projects in own area.
• Look beyond the immediate problem to the wider implications.
• Act as a facilitator, coach, and move teams forward.
