Hackathon Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Program Associate. You will work closely with the Where U Elevate Team to support the planning, execution, and monitoring of various projects including Hackathon Campaigns, Bootcamps, Academic Outreach, Open Innovation Programs and Saarthi Workshops.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute Hackathons, Open Innovation Programs, Bootcamps, Academic outreach Workshops and community engagement campaigns.
• Communicate project updates, milestones, and challenges to stakeholders and team members.
• Identify and reach out to target audiences as per project requirements, including students, working professionals, and startups.
• Formulate outreach plans to effectively engage with the identified audiences via email, social media platforms and community events.
• Establish partnerships and collaborations with communities, startups, colleges, and professionals to encourage their participation.
• Management & creation of active engagement on WUE Community on Discord with proper planning and execution of internal community events.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
• Analysing data and user feedback (project results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to help shape future project strategies.
• Contribute innovative ideas and strategies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Have a growth mindset; if you don’t know how to do something, you take the initiative to learn how to do it.
• Should be a good communicator, collaborator, and team player.

Qualifications

• Pursuing (2026 batch Passout) or recently completed UG or PG (any discipline; preference for business, marketing, communications, or related fields).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for hackathons, partnerships, and student community building.
• Self-driven, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Prior experience in student leadership roles, community management, or event organization is a plus.
