About the Role

Marriott Syracuse Downtown seeks a Food Runner to join Shaughnessy's Pub.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry dishes and beverages from the kitchen to the correct tables, ensuring orders are complete.
• Meet Crescent Hotels & Resorts and Marriott brand high standards of cleanliness.
• Assist waitstaff by setting tables with proper silverware, napkins, and condiments.
• Refill water glasses and provide additional items as needed.
• Act as a liaison between the kitchen and front-of-house staff.
• Maintain stock and cleanliness of stations for all meal periods with necessary equipment including silverware, linen and condiments.
• Quickly clear dirty table settings and prepare table for resetting.
• Promptly and consistently reset all service ware as prescribed.
• Assist servers, bartenders, and managers with carrying plates, polishing utensils, and maintaining kitchen stations.
• Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
• Perform sweeping and mopping of floors and overall restaurant cleanliness.
• Perform any other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Must be available nights, weekends, and holidays.
