Sr Lead Engineer

About the Role

Qualcomm is a leading technology innovator driving communication and data processing transformation. As an ASIC Engineer, you will define, model, design, optimize, verify, validate, implement, and document IP development for high-performance products. You will collaborate with cross-functional groups to determine product execution paths.

This role involves the IP Level Verification of Qualcomm Spectra Camera Sub Systems Modules for next-generation Qualcomm products. You will need to understand camera signal processing modules and verify them at the module & subsystem level for enhanced features.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the verification of IP level modules end to end with continuous enhancements.
• Collaborate with IP Verification, Design, and System leads.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• SystemVerilog/UVM for RTL design verification.
• Industry-standard simulation tools.
• Perl, Python, or similar scripting languages.
• Familiarity with bus protocols like AHB, AXI.
• Familiarity with ARM based system architecture.
• Familiarity with Firmware/emulation (e.g., Veloce) based verification.
• Familiarity with GLS.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in RTL design verification using SystemVerilog/UVM and industry-standard simulation tools (Mandatory).
• Expertise in Coverage closure.
• RTL debug skills.
• Expertise in SV – UVM.
• Assertions based verification.
• DPI.

Preferred Skills/Experience

• Experience in power aware simulation.
• Experience on camera verification.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

OR

• Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.

OR

• PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
