About the Role

Pragyan Child Development Centre (Pragyan CDC) is a healthcare organization in Bengaluru, Karnataka, providing developmental care and therapeutic support for children. The center supports children with autism, ADHD, developmental delays, and learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess children's speech, language, and communication development.
• Identify speech delays, language disorders, and communication difficulties.
• Provide individualised speech and language therapy for children.
• Help children improve pronunciation, vocabulary, sentence formation, and fluency.
• Support children with autism, ADHD, and other developmental delays.
• Develop personalised therapy plans based on each child's needs.
• Improve children's social communication and interaction skills.
• Use play-based activities, toys, and visual aids to encourage communication.
• Monitor children's progress and maintain therapy records.
• Guide parents on speech development activities to practise at home.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, behavioural therapists, psychologists, and special educators.
• Conduct regular assessments and modify therapy plans according to the child's progress.

Qualifications

• Educational qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology / Speech and Hearing.
• Experience: Freshers may be eligible for entry-level roles; some positions require prior pediatric clinical experience.
• Personal skills: Patience, empathy, good communication, and the ability to work with children and parents.
