Lab Instructor And Laboratory Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, materials, and setups for practical classes in coordination with teaching staff.
• Guide learners during laboratory sessions.
• Demonstrate experiments.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of laboratory use and inventory.
• Support the development of lab-based learning activities.
• Assist in curriculum-related practical work.
• Organize lab resources.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and compliant laboratory environment.
• Collaborate with teachers to align lab activities with lesson plans.
• Occasionally assist with school events and science-related activities.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Laboratory Skills: Including handling equipment, preparing experiments, and following safety procedures.
• Teaching and Education Skills: To support effective instruction during lab sessions and assist in learner guidance.
• Curriculum Development Skills: To help design and adapt practical activities that align with academic objectives.
• Communication Skills: Clear and professional, for interacting with learners, colleagues, and school administration.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic background in Science or related fields (e.g., Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or similar) is preferred.
• Prior experience in a school or educational laboratory setting is beneficial.
