Field Service Engineer

About the Role

A Field Service Engineer is responsible for the interaction of multiple technical systems, components, and software. This role often involves performing direct maintenance or repairs on complex technology systems.

Key Responsibilities

• On-Site Maintenance and Repairs: Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of oil and gas equipment, including fuel dispensers and other equipment at retail outstations like Petrol pumps, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical issues that may arise during equipment operation, utilizing a deep understanding of specific systems and processes.
• Installation and Commissioning: Assist with the installation, configuration, and commissioning of new equipment (fuel dispensers and other types of equipment at retail outstations like Petrol pumps), ensuring operation according to specified guidelines and safety standards.
• Customer Support: Provide technical support and guidance to clients or customers, addressing concerns and offering solutions to maximize the efficiency and safety of their operations.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to industry safety standards and regulations, and identify potential safety hazards or risks to prevent accidents and promote a secure working environment.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of service activities, including maintenance schedules, repairs performed, and modifications made, and provide comprehensive reports to supervisors or management.
• Training and Knowledge Sharing: Attend training sessions or workshops to enhance understanding of equipment operations, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
• Field Operations Coordination: Collaborate with other team members, including engineers, technicians, and project managers, to coordinate field operations, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
• Adherence to Company Policies: Follow company policies and protocols, including those related to quality control, health, safety, and environmental protection.
