Role Title: Clinical Research Associate
About the Role
Proxima Skills Academy is seeking a full-time, on-site Clinical Research Associate (CRA) in India. This role is responsible for supporting and monitoring clinical trials in compliance with approved protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate study start-up activities.
- Review informed consent forms and essential documents.
- Assist in site selection and initiation.
- Perform on-site monitoring visits.
- Verify source data.
- Ensure accurate case report form completion.
- Track study timelines and milestones.
- Collaborate with clinical operations teams, investigators, and site staff.
- Document findings in monitoring reports.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement.
- Maintain ethical standards.
- Support training for site personnel.
- Help ensure participant safety and data integrity.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Clinical trial expertise, including experience with Clinical Trials and Clinical Research Associate responsibilities.
- Clinical operations and site management skills, including Clinical Operations and hands-on study coordination.
- Protocol comprehension and implementation skills.
- Research skills, including data collection, documentation, and basic analysis.
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), ethical guidelines, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Proficiency in standard office and clinical trial management software; experience with electronic data capture systems is an advantage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Nursing, Medicine, or a related health or scientific discipline.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple sites or studies.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and site teams.
- Prior internship or experience in clinical research, hospital-based research, or CRO settings is preferred but not mandatory.
