About the Role
Dental Hygienist at Dental Care on North Avenue, a Heartland Dental supported office.
Schedule
- Tuesday: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Wednesday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Thursday: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
- Friday: 8:00 am - 3:00 pm
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional lifetime care to patients.
- Act as an elite clinical provider and patient advocate.
- Be an integral member of the patient care team, giving patients the time and care they need.
- Perform dental hygiene procedures.
- Perform dental patient screening.
- Document medical history.
- Provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients’ dental health.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Current dental hygienist license in Missouri.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required).
- Excellent working knowledge of dentistry.
- CPR Certification.
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Prolonged periods sitting and standing.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times.
- Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically.
- Tuberculosis (TB) test required for all new hires in dental office positions (arranged during pre-employment process, not applicable in FL & TN).
Preferred Experience
- New graduates and experienced hygienists are encouraged to apply.
- Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems.
- Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills.
