About the Role
- Proficient in using Tekla Structures software (latest versions).
- Ability to read and understand client design drawings and standards.
- Experience and knowledge of relevant design codes such as BS 5950, Eurocode, AISC.
- Ability to read design calculations and connection marking plans.
- Assumes complete responsibility for ensuring the final quality output.
- Self-motivated, willing to take additional responsibility, and progress as per contract program requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation and checking of MTO models in Tekla Structures and performing completeness checks.
- Hands-on experience in typical connections and mass connection application.
- Preparation and checking of fabrication drawings for all types of main structural members of all types of structures.
- Preparation and checking of G.A. & marking plans for all types of structures.
- Modelling and editing of miscellaneous items like handrails, stairs, safety gates & ladders.
- Generating reports for cold rolled sections.
- Interpretation, checking, and incorporation of sub-trades details (e.g., flooring, decking, cladding) into relevant models.
- Co-ordination and administration of smaller contracts whenever necessary.
- Generation of technical queries and administration of same is preferred.
