SDE I

About the Role

This is a full-time Software Development Engineer I (SDE I) role in a hybrid setup, based in Noida with flexibility for partial work from home. The SDE I will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining back-end services and APIs that power the PYAAS app and platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementing new features
• Fixing bugs
• Writing clean and testable code
• Collaborating with product and operations teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Participating in code reviews
• Improving system performance and reliability
• Helping build secure, scalable integrations with internal and external systems
• Assisting in documentation
• Deployment support
• Continuous improvement of development practices and tools

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with experience in at least one modern language (e.g., Java, Python, Go, or Node.js)
• Hands-on experience in Software Development and Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs and microservices
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and basic software development lifecycle practices
• Ability to write clean, maintainable code, with attention to testing, debugging, and performance optimization
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to learn
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced startup environment

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and database concepts
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• Understanding of relational or NoSQL databases and basic cloud or containerization concepts (e.g., AWS, GCP, Docker) is beneficial
• Interest in supply chain, agri-tech, or dairy-tech domains is a plus
