UI/UX Design Intern

About the Role

Full-time remote internship in India

Duration: 1 to 3 months

Stipend: INR 15,000 to INR 16,500 per month

Key Responsibilities

• Create wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for websites and mobile apps using Figma.
• Design clean, user-friendly, and responsive interfaces that follow current design standards.
• Conduct basic user research, surveys, and usability testing and summarize the findings.
• Create user flows, user personas, and journey maps to improve the user experience.
• Build and maintain design systems, color palettes, typography, and reusable components.
• Work with developers to hand off designs and ensure the final product matches the design.
• Improve existing screens based on feedback and testing results.
• Work with the team to understand requirements and deliver tasks on time.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Basic knowledge of Figma or any similar design tool (Adobe XD, Sketch).
• Basic understanding of UI/UX principles, layout, color, and typography.
• Understanding of wireframing and prototyping.
• Basic understanding of user research and usability testing.
• Good creativity and attention to detail.
• Good written and spoken English communication.

Good to Have

• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.
• Basic understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Familiarity with design systems and accessibility basics.
• Portfolio on Behance, Dribbble, or Figma with sample projects.

Qualifications

• Students and recent graduates in B.Des, B.Tech, BCA, MCA, B.Sc, M.Sc, BFA, or any related field.
• Freshers interested in building a career in UI/UX design.
• Candidates with a laptop or computer, a stable internet connection, and a basic design portfolio.
