About the Role

Weskill is an innovative online training platform focused on upskilling undergraduate students through practical, hands-on learning. This is a remote internship position focused on supporting the development and enhancement of the platform’s web-based features and user interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementing front-end components.
• Assisting with back-end functionality.
• Debugging and testing web applications.
• Collaborating with mentors to refine design and user experience.
• Translating requirements into clean, efficient code.
• Ensuring responsive and accessible web pages.
• Learning modern web development practices.
• Participating in code reviews.
• Contributing to documentation for ongoing projects.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Foundational skills in Web Development and Programming.
• Experience or coursework in Front-End Development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Exposure to Back-End Web Development concepts such as APIs, databases, or server-side languages.
• Basic Web Design skills, with an understanding of responsive layouts and user-centered design principles.
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git) is advantageous.
• An interest in modern web technologies is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Ability to learn quickly, follow technical guidance, and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
