About the Role

• Champspace AI is a Gurgaon-based training provider specializing in industry-standard programs in SaaS, Artificial Intelligence, and Marketing.
• The role is a full-time remote position.
• This internship is designed to provide practical, project-based experience that complements academic studies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining web applications using Python and Django.
• Build REST APIs.
• Integrate databases.
• Implement core backend logic.
• Write clean, testable code.
• Debug and resolve issues.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Collaborate with mentors and other team members.
• Contribute to documentation.
• Follow best practices in version control.
• Learn to work with deployment and testing tools in a professional environment.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Core programming skills in Python.
• Foundational understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Basic experience with Django or similar web frameworks, including views, models, URLs, and templates.
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite) and writing simple queries.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems, including branching and committing code.
• Problem-solving and debugging skills, with attention to code quality and maintainability.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate in remote teams.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics, and REST APIs.
• Eagerness to learn new tools and frameworks.

Qualifications

• Current college students in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field are ideally sought.
• A strong interest in backend web development.
