About the Role
The Artificial Intelligence Intern will support the design, development, and testing of AI-driven solutions for projects and hackathon initiatives. This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Coimbatore Area.
Key Responsibilities
- Explore datasets.
- Build and evaluate machine learning models.
- Write and optimize code.
- Document experiments and outcomes.
- Collaborate with mentors, developers, and fellow students on-site to prototype AI features.
- Troubleshoot technical issues.
- Iterate on solutions based on user and stakeholder feedback.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Programming experience in languages commonly used for AI and data work (e.g., Python, R, or similar), including use of relevant libraries.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software development concepts.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for problem solving, data interpretation, and decision making in technical contexts.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of Data Science concepts such as data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation.
- Exposure to Machine Learning techniques, frameworks, and workflows for building and refining predictive models.
- Ability to learn quickly, work collaboratively in a team setting, and communicate technical ideas clearly.
- Relevant coursework or projects in AI, ML, or data science; participation in hackathons or tech communities is an advantage.
- Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree program in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
