About the Role

A full-time, on-site position in Cold Spring, MN.

Key Responsibilities

• Performing dental prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and non-surgical periodontal therapy.
• Providing thorough oral hygiene instruction and preventive care education.
• Reviewing medical and dental histories.
• Assisting in diagnosis of periodontal disease.
• Collaborating with dentists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Taking and interpreting radiographs.
• Documenting clinical findings accurately in patient records.
• Ensuring strict adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
• Communicating with patients to promote comfort, understanding of treatment, and long-term oral health.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Minnesota, in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Familiarity with OSHA and infection control standards.
• Proficiency in Dentistry and Dental Care.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with dentists on comprehensive treatment planning.
• Strong Hygiene skills, including patient education on oral health, home care techniques, and preventive strategies.
• Hands-on experience with Dental Prophylaxis procedures (polishing, scaling, fluoride applications).
• Knowledge and clinical competency in managing Periodontal Disease (assessment, charting, non-surgical periodontal therapy).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work respectfully with patients of diverse backgrounds and ages.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable time management.
• Ability to function effectively as part of a collaborative dental team.

Prior experience in a general or family dentistry setting is preferred but not required; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
