About the Role
Join Pace® Analytical Services as a Lab Technician in the sample preparation department of our environmental testing laboratory. You will receive all the training necessary to succeed and grow a career in laboratory sciences.
Key Responsibilities
- Support Scientists by preparing water and soil samples prior to analysis.
- Follow established sample preparation procedures.
- Work with various solvents and chemicals for sample preparation.
- Maintain and update documentation and databases.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Ability to work in a lab or office setting.
- Ability to remain standing for long periods while conducting tests.
- Ability to work around strong smells.
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) while handling samples (lab coat, safety glasses, gloves).
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred but not required.
- Curiosity, talents, and drive.
- Passion for protecting the environment and communities.
Shift: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Compensation: $18.00 per hour
