Business Analyst Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and analytically driven Business Analyst Intern in our Digitalization team to work closely with the cross-functional business teams on data-driven decision-making, business process optimisation, and operational improvement initiatives. This role offers hands-on exposure to real business challenges across sales, marketing, supply chain, service operations, and business performance. You will work with business stakeholders and analysts to understand requirements, analyse data, identify process gaps, and translate findings into actionable insights and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Business & Data Analysis: Analyse sales, operational, customer, and market data to identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Requirements Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, document business requirements, and translate them into clear, actionable deliverables.
• Process Mapping & Optimisation: Map As-Is and To-Be business processes, identify bottlenecks, and recommend opportunities for process improvement, standardisation, and automation.
• Business Insights: Convert analytical findings into structured recommendations supported by data, business context, and measurable outcomes.
• Market & Competitor Research: Conduct market research, competitor benchmarking, and trend analysis to support business planning and strategic initiatives.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with teams across product, marketing, sales, service operations, and technology to validate requirements, findings, and proposed solutions.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Proficiency in MS Excel/Google Sheets, including lookup functions, PivotTables, conditional formulas, data cleaning, and basic data analysis.
• Familiarity with AI productivity tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Microsoft Copilot.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Management, or a related discipline.
• Understanding of business analysis fundamentals, including requirements elicitation, BRD/FRD documentation, process mapping, gap analysis, and stakeholder management.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A structured, detail-oriented approach with strong ownership, curiosity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
