About the Role

The Junior Accounts Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Maharashtra, India. This position offers exposure to both financial and operational aspects of marketing and consultancy projects, with opportunities to learn and grow into more advanced account management responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support senior account managers in handling client accounts.
• Prepare invoices and track payments.
• Maintain accurate financial records.
• Update account databases.
• Reconcile statements.
• Assist with budgeting and expense reporting.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services to clients.
• Communicate with clients to clarify billing queries and share account updates.
• Support overall account servicing.

Qualifications & Tech Stack

• Strong foundation in accounting principles, including ledger management, reconciliation, and basic financial reporting.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting or ERP software.
• Ability to maintain accurate digital records and reports.
• Effective communication and client-service skills, with the ability to respond clearly to billing and account-related queries.
• Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple accounts, deadlines, and documentation requirements.
• Analytical thinking and attention to detail for reviewing invoices, tracking payments, and identifying discrepancies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Maharashtra, India.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a structured office environment.
• Prior internship or entry-level experience in accounts, finance, or administration will be an advantage.
