Junior Investment Analyst

About the Role

PInterview is seeking a full-time, remote Junior Investment Analyst to support investment research and analysis across various asset classes.

Key Responsibilities

• Gathering and interpreting financial data.
• Assisting in building and maintaining financial models.
• Contributing to portfolio performance reports and presentations.
• Evaluating investment opportunities.
• Monitoring market trends.
• Supporting senior team members in making data-driven recommendations.
• Preparing clear documentation.
• Participating in internal discussions.
• Collaborating with cross-functional colleagues to align investment insights with business goals.

Requirements & Tech Stack

• Finance and Investments knowledge, including understanding of financial markets, asset classes, and investment vehicles.
• Solid Analytical Skills for quantitative and qualitative analysis, data interpretation, and problem-solving.
• Financial Modeling skills to build, maintain, and interpret models for valuation, scenario analysis, and forecasting.
• Portfolio Management-related skills, such as monitoring holdings, tracking performance, and understanding risk and diversification.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and analytical tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets).
• Familiarity with Python, R, or SQL is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex concepts clearly and objectively.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and collaborate with a distributed team.
• Interest in continuous learning about investment strategies, market developments, and financial regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Relevant internships or entry-level experience are advantageous.
