About the Role
7-Eleven Inc. has an opportunity for a Summer Internship focused on Internal Communications. This is a project-based role occurring over 11 weeks during the summer months. The internship provides in-depth experience within the functional area, culminating in a project presentation to functional leaders. Interns will work closely with a coach, attend a lunch series for cross-functional exposure and senior leadership interaction, and experience a store tour and distribution system learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with content creation for the company intranet.
- Draft and distribute internal emails using platforms such as Poppulo and Unily.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise-wide communications.
- Help reinforce company culture and strategic messaging.
- Gain hands-on experience in corporate communications strategy and execution.
Requirements & Tech Stack
- Microsoft 365 tools including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Poppulo
- Unily
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate content.
- Familiarity with AP style is preferred.
- Interest in internal communications and corporate messaging.
- Willingness to learn and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
